Community Christmas Collection

Community-Christmas-Collection National Hemp Service
National Hemp Service|
In the midst of a cost of living crisis, we are collecting donations for gifts and food this Christmas. For the second time, we'll be spreading joy to people in our local community who might otherwise go without.

Christmas is a time for giving and connecting with those around you. This year, in the midst of the cost of living crisis, many people will not be able to celebrate with the traditional comforts of a hot meal and gifts.

You can help us spread the joy of Christmas to families whose children would otherwise not receive a gift, and adults who cannot afford a Christmas meal.

For the second time, with the help of the Peace & Justice Project, we'll be spreading joy to people in our local community who might otherwise go without.

Please support our Community Christmas Collection by donating new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children who might not otherwise receive a Christmas present. You can send them to or drop them off at the National Hemp Service where they will then be wrapped and distributed to local families.

You can also donate to our Community Christmas fundraiser, all of the proceeds will be spent on sourcing food and small gifts like gloves, flasks or books for people who are in need this winter.

Where do I drop off/send presents?

You can drop off presents to the National Hemp Service which is open between 10am-7pm Monday-Saturday and 12pm-7pm on Sundays.

If sending, please post unwrapped donations to:

National Hemp Service,

167c Stroud Green Road,

Islington,

London

N4 3PZ

When does the Community Christmas Collection end?

We will be collecting donations until Tuesday 20th December.

What happens if too many gifts are donated?

Nearly half of all children in our area (Islington) live in poverty, if too many gifts are donated for us to distribute they will be shared with nearby community centres and food banks to give out.

Great work 🤶🎄🎁☃️

While it’s considered the ‘most wonderful time of the year,’ not all of us will be feeling the festive spirit as costs increase and inflation soars. Spread some joy and support this excellent initiative. Brilliant work, happily donated,
