A boiler break down in winter can be the difference between life or death for a vulnerable person.
DEPHER - Disabled & Elderly Plumbing & Heating Emergency Repair - have supported over 17,000 people in need with free or heavily subsidised essential plumbing & heating repairs.
During the pandemic they also branched out into helping distribute personal protective equipment and setting up a foodbank for the community.
For the month of October, as the cold season begins in the UK, we will be collecting donations for this brilliant cause.
To donate simply head to the cart page and select an amount. No purchase required, no minimum, and 100% of your donation will go to DEPHER!
Setup by James Anderson, a plumber from Burnley, Lancashire in 2017 to combat fuel poverty, DEPHER is mostly reliant on public donations.
The community interest company has a network of plumbers and heating engineers to provide assistance for people who may be unable to afford the cost of their service.
“Three days ago I got an email off a lady, there was a woman in Essex who has an oil boiler and she’d got no heating or hot water. The carer that looks after her contacted me because of it. A company wanted £3,000 upfront payment before they’d even go out and look at the boiler. This woman’s 74, walking around the house in a hat, gloves, scarf – she’s on a pension, she hasn’t got that kind of money. The majority of people in this country haven’t.”

Which CBD oil is right for me?
We currently only sell one type of CBD oil: full spectrum, the most effective kind. So no matter what you're using it for, you can buy with confidence knowing you're getting the 'gold standard' of CBD oil. If you'd like to read more about the benefits of full spectrum CBD, check out our blog here.
How do I take CBD oil?
- Place drops under tongue
- Hold for 2 minutes
- Swallow
CBD Oil is sublingual oil, meaning it's taken under the tongue. The reason for this is that we have receptors under our tongues that very efficiently absorb CBD. When taken sublingually, more CBD is absorbed than when it's taken in edible or capsule form.
What's the difference between the different strengths?
The main difference between the different strengths of CBD oil we sell is how long each bottle will last you. The higher the strength the longer the bottle will last and the more cost effective it will be because you will need to take less in order to get your daily dose of CBD.
How much CBD oil should I take?
We recommend starting anywhere from from 20-40mg per day and increasing by 5mg per week until it's having the desired effect. Most people using CBD for general wellbeing will start at the lower end of that while those using it for something specific tend to start higher. The reason for increasing the dose gradually is that longer you use CBD the more your body is able to absorb. By adding a small amount each week you are maximising the amount of each dose you absorb.

Can I take too much CBD oil?
It's impossible to 'overdose' on CBD because whatever isn't absorbed gets expelled naturally from the body. The Food Standards Agency recommend not to exceed 70mg per day but there is very little scientific evidence back up that doing so can be harmful.
How long will a bottle of CBD oil last me?
That depends entirely on your daily dose of CBD and what strength of oil you are using. The table below shows roughly how long each of our bottles will last for people taking between 20-40mg per day.

Will CBD oil get me high?
In short: No.
Whilst our CBD is full spectrum and contains THC up to the legally allowed limit of 0.2%, this is not enough to get a person high. Although many of our customers report back feeling 'relaxed' after taking CBD oil, this is due to the calming effects of CBD and is not the same as the 'high' associated with THC.
Will CBD oil show up on a drugs test?
It is possible that prolonged use of a full spectrum CBD oil will cause a small amount of THC to show up on a drugs test. If you work somewhere that drugs testings employees, we recommend informing your employer that you are using a fully legal full spectrum CBD product. If you purchase CBD oil from us we are more than happy to provide written confirmation that you are a customer of ours and provide lab reports showing that the product you have purchased contains THC below the legally allowed limit. We also have a number of THC free products available.
